The Pharmacy Advantage in Direct-to-Patient Clinical Supply
Summary: Direct-to-patient (DTP) clinical supply services provide sponsors and patients with enhanced supply chain flexibility. Traditionally, clinical supplies are shipped to clinical sites where patient kits are either dispensed in person or are packed up and sent to patients (site-to-patient). DTP allows clinical supplies to be shipped directly to patients, bypassing clinical sites through pharmacy solutions. However, the quality and capabilities of pharmacies can vary significantly.
